Fireworks by Drone

A view just as cool as it sounds.

Once best known as fodder for Josh Lucas: Action Star vehicles (to me, anyway), drones are now undeniably mainstream. They’re propping up amateur filmmakers. They’re fighting wars. They’re delivering defibrillators. They do everything. Arguably, though, the above video shows UAVs at their most important.

Filmed via a drone-mounted Sony Action Cam, the pseudo-promotional video above takes us inside a fireworks show over Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki, Japan. And it’s pretty incredible—the aerial and internal view might just show the explosive display at its most mesmerizing. Enjoy.
