The University of Oklahoma chapter of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity has been closed by the national SAE organization after a video began circulating online that reportedly shows several young OU frat brothers in formalwear chanting, “There will never be a nigger SAE” and referring to lynching.* Here’s a copy of the video posted to YouTube by Unheard, an OU advocacy group which the New York Times says was the first to identify the chanters as potential Oklahoma students:

CNN is reporting that the men in the video are part of OU’s SAE chapter, and the national fraternity organization’s statement on the matter appears to imply so as well.
