Netflix’s The Ranch Is a That ’70s Show Reunion but With More Cattle

For those who’ve been awaiting a That ’70s Show reboot with bated breath, it’s … sort of here. In The Ranch, Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson (aka Kelso and Hyde) reunite in a multicamera, laugh track-infused sitcom—this time as brothers Colt and “Rooster.” And their father, Beau, is like a more rugged Red Forman—at least, Red would totally agree with Beau’s apparent disdain for quinoa.

In the trailer, we see Colt return home to help his family run the ranch, putting his dreams of turning around his failed semipro football career at the age of 34 on hiatus. Of course, various disasters involving cops, fire, and guns ensue. The show hits Netflix on April 1.
