If you don’t pay attention to the words, Patti Smith’s requiem for Aqua Teen Hunger Force, which will come to a close on Sunday after 13 seasons of fast-food–themed stoner comedy, is a real tearjerker. Of course, if you do listen to the words, they’re about “a Master Shake,” “Meatwad,” and “a floating head” (Frylock).

As hilarious as Smith’s sincere delivery is, many fans will be at least a little glum as they watch the finale, entitled “The Last One Forever and Ever (For Real This Time) (We ****ing Mean It).” If you need a pick-me-up after it’s all over, you can always look back on another Aqua Teen musical collaboration, its song with Andrew WK.
