Year of Great Books: Jane Eyre

Want to rediscover the joys and surprises of great literature? We’re spending 2016 reading and discussing great novels alongside Laura Miller and her fellow Slatesters. In April, Laura and Slate Group editor-in-chief Jacob Weisberg will be talking about Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre.

On April 13th join Laura, Jacob, and fellow book lovers in New York for a live conversation on Brontë’s great novel and its place in English literature. Hear their conversation, ask questions, and make suggestions about what A Year of Great Books should read next.

This is event is free for Slate Plus members or those who buy a copy of Jane Eyre or a $10 gift card from the Strand. Please note that payment is required for all online event orders at the time of checkout. The event will be located in the Strand’s third-floor Rare Book Room at 828 Broadway at 12th Street.
