DoubleX will be live at D.C.’s Woolly Mammoth Theater as part of the inaugural Women’s Voices Theater Festival, a citywide celebration of new work by female playwrights from more than 50 professional theaters throughout the nation’s capital region, taking place in D.C. for the first time this fall, from Sept. 18 to Oct. 11. 

Editor Hanna Rosin of DoubleX, Slate’s section for women; New York magazine’s Noreen Malone; and editor June Thomas of OutwardSlate’s LGBTQ section, will have a provocative conversation highlighting  current women’s issues.

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company continues to hold its place at the leading edge of American theater.  Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company has become one of the best known and most influential midsized theaters in America.

We will also have a preshow cocktail hour with the hosts from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Each ticket holder will receive one complimentary drink. Only 40 tickets for the cocktail hour will be sold, so get them while they last!

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for cocktail hour and 6:30 p.m. for the live show.
