Picking NBC's Personal Worst
Posted Monday, Sept. 25, 2000, at 9:30 PM ETLast week, I wrote a "Sports Nut" about all the sob stories drowning NBC's Olympics coverage. Well, it keeps getting worse. During a recent equestrian event, the commentators actually applauded the indomitable spirit of a horse who had overcome heart trouble to compete.
