Seven statisticians and political scientists recently unveiled updated presidential "election forecasts," which continue to predict that Al Gore will narrowly defeat George W. Bush. When the same group of scholars produced preliminary forecasts several months ago, Karl Eisenhower and Pete Nelson analyzed the phony science of election forecasting.
