With his British Open victory yesterday, Woods became, at age 24, the youngest player ever to win all four of golf's major tournaments. And only four other men have done it at any age. He won the British Open by the largest margin of victory (eight strokes) since 1913. And earlier this year he won the U.S. Open by the largest margin of victory ever. Woods still needs to win 14 more majors to equal Jack Nicklaus' career record of 18—at which point he can officially consider himself the greatest golfer ever. But there is no year in Nicklaus' career when he was as dominant as Woods has been over the last 12 months.
