Slate, the Industry Standard, and washingtonpost.com join forces to examine the effect of the Internet on Campaign 2000.
In the confusing past few weeks, millionaire political neophyte Jon Corzine spent his way to success in New Jersey Democratic Senate primary, and newcomer Rick Lazio has suddenly become the one to watch in New York. Once again, the numbers provide a measure of the online political landscape.

2. Unique visitors to the Gore2000 Web site for the month of May: 89,000
