Crest Multi-Care boasts a 0.15 percent concentration of sodium fluoride, while Enamelon's concentration is 0.14 percent. Clinically, the Crest product is slightly better, but the dentists I spoke with said the difference is negligible. Different brands also use different types of fluoride, including sodium monofluorophosphate, sodium fluoride, and stannous fluoride. One dentist I spoke with said stannous fluoride may occasionally stain the teeth a bit. The other dentist said there was no relevant difference at all.
