The Psycho Men Slayers are an all-female group of Quake players notorious for their skilled playing and their flouting of male gaming conventions. Their home page has pink roses, looping script, and pleasant reminders--such as, "If you want to challenge us, please take a moment to look at the calendar and choose a day when we don't already have a match planned"--that seem designed to piss off the macho male players. The photo gallery parodies men's sites: It opens with a collection of beefcake photos of men; these give way to real pictures of the women, mostly wearing T-shirts and jeans, sitting in front of computer terminals. PMS QBitch (current team co-leader) includes a photo of herself in her wedding dress, standing next to her husband. Click the heading "PMS Spawn," and you get a gallery of baby pictures of the players' kids.
