As for the translation by Hank Heifetz, it is admirably clear and straightforward. There are a few inconsistencies. Vicente Lombardo Toledano's socialist organization is called the Popular Party in some places and the People's Party in other places. Subcomandante Marcos of the Zapatistas reappears elsewhere as Subcommander Marcos. But there is relatively little of this for a book of more than 800 pages.
