My family plows through 4 to 6 liters of Fresca a week. It has zero calories. That's why I buy it. There is no, repeat no, evidence that aspartame is harmful (internet crazies to the contrary). If anyone taxes my Fresca for health reasons, I'm going libertarian.

My feelings regarding food are that if you want to eat your chocolate covered Twinkie, wrapped in fried bacon, and wash it down with five scoops of ice cream and a 2 liter of Coke be prepared to pay a higher premium (or whatever this health care reform brings us) than those who try their best to stay in shape and watch what they eat. It's like car insurance - teenagers pay more because they are a higher risk, and the same reasoning should apply to those who simply don't care about what or how much they consume.
