While John has a point, in this case, the new kid on the block who was invited to crash the press briefing by the WH, did credit to his job as a reporter by asking a damn fine question.

Nico did a first class job of drilling down an important point.

So many of the mainstream media reporters who ask the president questions use the press conference as a show piece for their own, puffed up need to seem tough. But rather than being illuminating, these questions are often pompous and silly.

Occasionally inviting HuffPo to WH briefings is a good idea, like adding a dash of Tabasco to one's rather bland and predictable breakfast of scrambled eggs.
