While I certainly admire the pluck of the latest crop of Chinese adventure movies, marketing them internationally would be a copyright infringement nightmare. Crazy Stone in particular is, while a sincere form of flattery, an amalgamation of Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. It borrows not just characters and plot elements, but the soundtracks are jarringly similar. I enjoyed the movie but I would be dispirited if Asian filmmakers continued the Bollywood tradition of rehashing Western movies from the past five-ten years.
