My friends and I like to joke about 2012 occasionally and will probably have an apocalypse party on the special day. I highly doubt that everyone on the internet that's chattering about this is serious though, perhaps more tongue-in-cheek?
In fact, I almost think it's becoming an internet meme more than anything else. I'm sure some day (long before 2012) we'll all get bored of it, but for now it's worth a chuckle. Maybe somebody can combine a 2012 joke with the Russian reversal and Chuck Norris... any takers?
