January tends to be a bad month for movies because studios try to get their best films out in December to meet the Oscar deadline. This year it's no different. Mark Jordan Legan takes us through reviews of three lackluster films: Notorious, the story of the life and death of the Notorious B.I.G.; the kids' film Hotel for Dogs; and the comedy Paul Blart: Mall Cop.
