Dear Mr. Dickerson,

I just read your article at Slate. It seems like 16 years later and not much has changed in American politics. I'm still waiting for an invitation to tonight's debate. I've got two sons (neither of which have a ponytail) but would hope that if either one were at tonight's debate they would ask today's candidates to stick to the issues that continue to effect today's "Main Street" voter and leave the mud for the pigs (whether they're wearing lipstick or not).
