In an Aug. 26 "Medical Examiner," Darshak Sanghavi incorrectly stated that New Zealand lowered its drinking age from 21 to 18 and that fatal crashes subsequently soared. The country actually lowered the drinking age from 20 to 18, and crashes did not soar.

In "Well-Traveled" from the week of Aug. 25, William Powers originally misspelled the names of the Weserburg Museum of Modern Art, the town of Norddeich, and the island of Norderney.

In the Aug. 25 "Press Box," Jack Shafer mistakenly referred to the Iowa State Fair as the Iowa County Fair.

In the Aug. 25 "Today's Papers," Lydia DePillis originally referred to Michigan and Florida holding early Democratic conventions. The two states held early Democratic primaries.
