Two Weddings and a Vacation

Slate magazine takes pleasure in announcing the marriages of Mr. David Plotz (associate editor) to Ms. Hanna Rosin, and of Ms. Karenna Gore (editorial assistant emeritus) to Dr. Andrew Schiff. Celebrations in connection with these two unions have so exhausted the Slate staff that we will be taking next week off to recover--except for "Today's Papers," which will continue to be posted every morning, and Jacob Weisberg's "Dispatch" from the Senate campaign-finance hearings. Weisberg will be filing Tuesday through Thursday--look for his entries after 8:30 p.m. EDT. The current issue will, of course, be available online, as will Slate's archive, "The Compost." Use this opportunity to explore a year's worth of Slate riches.
