
The problem of imprecise diagnosis is exceptionally troublesome, especially to child psychiatrists. Other health-care professionals are often skeptical of the psychiatrists' work. This pushes the profession to seek biological explanations, amenable to pharmaceutical solutions, for the problems it addresses.
