Corrections

In the Sept. 6 "Technology," Paul Boutin originally implied that the iPhone can sort your contacts by last name only. It can sort by first name, last name, and other categories.

In the Aug. 31 "Chatterbox," Timothy Noah twice stated, incorrectly, that Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were killed on Thanksgiving. They were killed on June 12, 1994. The error arose from Noah's misreading of a paragraph in Simpson's book, If I Did It.

In the Aug. 31 "Spectator," Ron Rosenbaum referred to the Army War College in Alabama. It's the Air War College that is sited in Alabama.
