Just like the Jaguars, the 2006 New York Giants finished in the DVOA top 10 with a record of 8-8. However, the Giants completely collapsed in the second half of the season; on account of that collapse, the Giants aren't a good candidate to bounce back in 2007. Late in the year, we use a version of DVOA that is weighted to lower the importance of early games. In this version of the statistic, the Giants come in 14th, while the Jaguars move up from sixth to fifth.
