Alberto Gonzales' Resignation Letter
Below is Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' long-awaited letter of resignation, effective Sept. 17. Any doubt that Gonzales wrote the letter himself is erased by the grammatical error in the second sentence. Please note that Gonzales confuses subject and object ("my family and I" should be "my family and me"). His congressional interrogators will confirm that Gonzales always did find it difficult to focus on the subject at hand.
