The Times Reader electronically replicates the daily New York Times in a nonbrowser computer format. Its menus make it easy to track what you've read and what you haven't. It also allows one to mark up and copy stories, e-mail them, and store a week's worth of the paper on your laptop. I make vigorous and passionate love to it in this column.
