In the Aug. 2 "Today's Papers," Daniel Politi mistakenly referred to a National Symphony Orchestra performance as an opera.

In the Aug. 1 "Today's Blogs," Michael Weiss wrote that blogger Rachel Sklar interviewed Mort Zuckerman. She quoted statements Zuckerman made to MSNBC.

In the July 31 "Music Box," Erik Davis listed an incorrect title for the Jimi Hendrix song "If 6 Was 9."

In the July 30 "Explainer," Michelle Tsai mixed up the date of a news helicopter collision in Phoenix.

In the July 30 "Politics," John Dickerson mistakenly claimed that Teresa Wolf is Democratic chairwoman of Waterloo County, Iowa. She is Democratic chairwoman of Woodbury County.

In the July 30 "Television," Troy Patterson stated the wrong address for the Discovery Channel headquarters.

In image No. 12 of the July 27 "Today's Pictures," Magnum Photos initially misidentified Maharani Gayatri Devi as Indira Gandhi. They also misspelled Gandhi.

Because of an editing error, the "Related in Slate" for Christopher Hitchens' July 2 "Fighting Words" mistakenly referred to the Dutch controversy over cartoons of Mohammed. The cartoons were published by a Danish newspaper.
