Monica Goodling, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' White House liaison, is slated to testify before a House committee on Wednesday. Goodling was involved in the firings of U.S. attorneys, which Democrats say was politically motivated. Justice Department officials say the prosecutors were fired for poor performance.
