
On Oct. 16, 2006, Rep. Wilson called Iglesias and asked whether there were any sealed indictments in the public corruption investigation of state Democrats and whether any such indictments might soon be made public. Iglesias declined to comment. On Oct. 27 or 28, Sen. Domenici called Iglesias at home and asked him directly if any corruption indictments would be filed "before November." When Iglesias said that he didn't think so, Domenici said, "I'm sorry to hear that," and hung up.
