The six member nations of the Gulf Cooperation Council are the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait. The Wall Street Journal article reports that Hillen and other State Department officials have also visited Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan for the same purpose.
