Community leaders in Los Angeles sent a letter on Sept. 22 to the Tribune Co. expressing the worry that the Chicago-based media company was bleeding the Los Angeles Times to death. Below and on the following seven pages are that letter and the response from Tribune Co. chairman Dennis FitzSimons.
