Doesn't anybody in the D.C. health field ever write anything down?
This statement sums up Rosenbaum's experience that entire evening, starting with the arrival of the firefighters.
Not true. I don't know about Howard, but certainly elsewhere people who aren't in immediate danger (or who the nurses THINK aren't in immediate danger) wait this long in emergency rooms all the time.
