Students who check yes, or fail to answer the drug question, are automatically sent a worksheet asking them to describe the nature of the conviction. Based on how they respond, they can be found ineligible for aid for all or part of the school year. The 190,000 total includes students who have lost all or part of their financial aid as of August 2005.
