Sure, Paul Haggis is feeling pretty good this morning, what with the upset win of his cinematic baby Crash at last night's Oscars. And yes, Robert Altman has now gotten his honorary statuette in recognition of his uneven but sometimes brilliant body of work.

But what about those filmmakers whose work has stood the test of time yet have never been properly recognized? Those Hollywood laborers who have entertained generations of moviegoers, albeit in ways they never imagined?

That's right, I'm talking about the makers of some of the worst movies in cinematic history. On today's Slate podcast, we offer our strictly low-rent ceremony to recognize the "winners" in three categories: Worst Biopic, Worst Western, and Worst Musical.
