
To establish a prima facie case in a Title VII suit, a plaintiff has to show that she is a member of the class that Congress protected from discrimination (on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin); that she was qualified for the position she seeks; that she didn't get it; and that the position went to someone who isn't in the class.
