In this week's audio-only Summary Judgment, writer Mark Jordan Legan sums up how the critics feel about three new releases: Lords of Dogtown, a docudrama about the skateboarders who launched a craze in 1970s Venice, Calif.; Cinderella Man, another mostly true story starring Russell Crowe as 1930s boxer Jim Braddock; and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, based on a popular young-adult book about four girls who stay connected by a pair of jeans that magically fits all of them.
