In the July issue of Vanity Fair, former FBI official W. Mark Felt outs himself as Deep Throat, the high-ranking anonymous source who aided the Washington Post investigation of the Watergate break-in and cover-up. The identity of Deep Throat has been the subject of much Slate speculation over the years, particularly by Chatterbox Timothy Noah. Here is an archive.
