This design by Rob Giampietro and Kevin Smith uses circles to illustrate the amount of each food group that should fill your plate. It's one of a 12-card, wallet-sized set that would reflect the different caloric needs of different people.
Now that you've had all those servings of healthy, smart design, go help yourself to some dessert.
Correction, April 28, 2005: In the text of slide 9, "vegetables" was translated into Spanish as vehículos. That word means cars. The correct translation in this context is "verduras." The translations of "beans," "grains," and "dairy" were also imprecise. The correct translations for those words are "legumbres," "cereales," and "productos lácteos."
