In a Feb. 10 "Movies" review of Inside Deep Throat, David Edelstein incorrectly identified "Adolph Hitler" as the name of porn star Linda Lovelace's dog. It was the name of her cat.

In a Feb. 11 "Culturebox," Laura Kipnis mistakenly described a scene from Deep Throat in which Linda Lovelace's boyfriend seeks a penile increase from the doctor; the procedure under discussion was actually a size decrease.

In a Feb. 11 "Explainer," Daniel Engber stated incorrectly that William of Orange became king when he married Mary Tudor in 1677. In fact, the pair took the throne together in 1688.

In a Feb. 11 "Medical Examiner," the bionote for Richard A. Epstein failed to include the relevant information that author has consulted for PhRMA, the industry trade association, and Pfizer, the drug company. That information was known to the editor, who should have included it. The information is now included in the note. The article also originally misspelled the name of the drug company AstraZeneca as Astro-Zeneca.

In a Feb. 15 "Explainer," Daniel Engber stated, incorrectly, that Ilyas Sarkis was the Lebanese president who requested military aid from Syria. In fact, it was Suleiman Franjieh who did so.

In the Feb. 16 "Foreigners," Jai Singh originally wrote that "the Burmese are starting to realize that the democrats and tyrants will have to work out a compromise." This statement has since been clarified to note that it is the Burmese opposition that is coming to this realization.

In a Feb. 17 "War Stories," Fred Kaplan referred to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency as the National Imagery and Mapping Agency, the name by which it was known until Nov. 24, 2003.
