In a Jan. 10 "War Stories," Fred Kaplan originally and incorrectly referred to former IBM CEO and Chairman Lou Gerstner as Lou Gertner.

In a Jan. 6 "Sports Nut," Daniel Engber originally stated that Paul Whitney does research on vision at the University of California-Irvine. In fact, he is at the University of California-Davis.
