In a May 14 "Culturebox," Eric Banks misstated the name of an author of children's horse-racing books. Her name is Marguerite Henry, not Margaret Henry.

In a May 14 "Summary Judgment," Ben Williams mistakenly called one of the stars of Breakin' All the Rules Maurice. The actor's name is Morris Chestnut.

In the May 14 "Today's Papers" column, Sam Schechner originally misstated the first name of the American contractor who was recently beheaded in Iraq. He is Nicholas, not Scott Berg. Schechner also mistakenly stated that the New York Times didn't include a story on Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter in its Friday editions. The Times did, in fact, run an article on Carter on the first page of the "Business" section.

In a May 6 "Movies" column, David Edelstein misstated the name of a Brazilian documentary. The name is Bus 174, not Bus 124.
