Corrections

A Feb. 19 "Assessment" of Colin Powell, Fred Kaplan wrongly identified John Bolton as the No. 2 in the State Department. In fact, Richard Armitage, the deputy secretary, is the department's No. 2. Bolton is undersecretary for arms control and international security, one of six undersecretaries.

In a Feb. 18 "Dispatch From Cambodia," Rachel Louise Snyder mistakenly said factories in Cambodia pay $40 per day. The correct figure is $40 per month.

In the Feb. 11 "Chatterbox," Josh Levin and Timothy Noah originally misspelled the first name of the Senate candidate for whom George W. Bush worked in Alabama. His name is Winton, not Winston, Blount.
