One of Maria's most recent stories for NBC was a sympathetic account of an anti-Botox lawsuit brought by the latest wife of movie producer Mike Medavoy. In it, Irena Medavoy contends that a reaction to Botox left her unable to even contemplate having sex with her husband. Instead taking the obvious step of nominating the manufacturer for the Nobel Prize in medicine, she sued.
