In a July 17 article about Howard Dean's agenda, William Saletan and Avi Zenilman incorrectly stated the amount of income subject to Social Security tax. It is $87,000, not $80,000.

In his July 14 "Readme" column, Michael Kinsley mistakenly attributed the question, "Who are you going to believe—us or your own two eyes?" to Groucho Marx. In fact, Chico asked it in Duck Soup.

In the July 12 "Today's Papers" column, Benjamin Healy wrote that in his State of the Union speech, President Bush alleged that Saddam Hussein was seeking uranium from Niger. In fact, the president never mentioned Niger; he cited "Africa."
