Peter Arnett reports on NBC this afternoon that a tour of Baghdad hospitals, led by the Iraqi information ministry, indicated that a couple hundred civilians were injured by the "shock and awe" bombardment. He didn't say how many were reportedly killed, but they must be far fewer still. Given the tonnage dropped and the damage inflicted on the intended targets, these are remarkably low numbers, especially compared with the "collateral damage" from the bombing of 1991.
