Why I Chose AudioTron
The reasons are simple: I want to have all my sound files in one place, I want to play all formats, and I don't want to have redundant technologies in my house. Many of the available digital audio receivers require you to have special software running on your computer. Others require that you connect to your main computer via a custom connection instead of using the network already available. Others even require that you copy the music files directly to that device. None of that is for me. I already have a home network, and I also already have a large cache of music files on my home computer. I want to keep all of them in one place so that I can play them on the computer when I'm in the study and on my digital audio receiver when I'm in the living room. Lastly, I have a variety of formats. I have MP3 files, I have WMA files, and I even have WAV files, and I don't want to have to worry about which is which.
AudioTron fills all my needs: It connects via my existing network, it plays all formats of files, and most important, it plays them from the central computer without running any special software. Someday I can even have multiple AudioTrons in my house all playing music from the same computer. How cool is that?
