U.S. plans to show Iraq's Dec. 7 report omits weapons certified by inspectors before 1998. Inspectors agree the report wasn't "currently accurate, full and complete" as required by U.N. resolution. Inspectors will begin interviewing Iraqi scientists in January, but Blix won't make scientists comply. U.S. military chiefs warn administration hawks a war could be longer and uglier than expected. Washington Post poll shows 62 percent support war, but 58 percent oppose it without U.N. support.
