
Harvey Pitt Resigns
Posted Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2002, at 9:21 PM ETHarvey Pitt, the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, resigned today. Last week, Daniel Gross explained how Pitt had made a hash of his job. And in July, Chris Suellentrop argued that Pitt was being unfairly blamed for accounting scandals.
