Arts & Letters Daily Returns!Welcome back to an old friend.
Posted Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, at 4:41 PM ETOn Oct. 7, Chatterbox reported that Arts & Letters Daily, the best culture portal on the Web, was no more. Today, he's happy to report, the Chronicle of Higher Education announced that it had bought Arts & Letters Daily along with the other remaining assets of Lingua Franca, the Web site's former owner. Arts & Letters Daily will be back in business as of Oct. 25, with Denis Dutton and Tran Huu Dung once again serving as editors. We now bid adieu to Philosophy & Literature, the Web site Dutton and Dung started when Arts & Letters Daily went south. Starting tomorrow, visitors to Philosophy & Literature will be redirected to Arts & Letters Daily.
