The June 7 England-Argentina contest is the most anticipated first-round match because the teams are great and the fans detest each other. A favorite moment during my recent stay in Japan occurred when a British reporter asked the Sapporo World Cup organizing committee boss what the city had planned for the thousands of foreign fans expected for the game. He said that the city would offer "classes in tea ceremony and flower-arranging." I hear that British hooligans just love flower-arranging.
